Addressing the knowledge gap between Arts/Humanities in the society

FAHSANU is a major outcome of the Faculty of Arts, University of Calabar International Conference held from April 12-15, 2016. The idea to form this association was mooted by Professor (Mrs) Dorothy Oluwagbemi Jacob (MNAL), the sitting dean of the faculty as of that time. Together and with the cooperation of the Faculty of Arts Board, University of Calabar, the Association has met all the requisite conditions for registration at the Corporate Affairs Commission, Abuja. FAHSANU is not a trade union.


Building a conscientised citizenry with high propensity to appreciate the relevance of the Arts/Humanities and the sciences to development.
